The match engine is just a trolling machine.Knocked out of the almost every cup competition by losing penalty after dominating the whole game (30 shots vs 3 shots). Never won a penalty shootout. I set Craig Gardner with 19 penalty taking attrribute. He missed all six penalties he took and cost the team a lot.Concede ridiculous amount of set-piece goals from the ball getting clear and the opponent picking up the second ball, one more direct pass, the opponent is completely free in the box. Taking a look at the replay, before the free kick is being taken, I can obviously see my left back is on the right side defending and my right back is the left side. When the ball is clear initially, both full backs are swithching back to their original side. It costs the left and right side completely empty and the opponent is through so easily and scoring so many goals. Yet, it has no way to exactly set the left back to stand on the left, right back stand of the right to defend set-pieces. You can only set your player to stay back or man mark in you tactics. I try many ways to stop my full back to switch side during the ball cleared in set-pieces. It never works and tons of goal were conceded this way.Also, the player promise system is poor. For example, Jon Flanagan is only my back up left back and he only had one year left on his contract. He wants to move to other club to get more first team football and promise to sell him in the next market. However, my first offer received is a season-long loan offer. If I accept this offer and loan him out, his contract will expire at the end of the season and I cannot sell him for any transfer budget. Of couse I am going to reject the loan offer. However, he accuses me of breaking my promise. I promise to sell him but not to loan him out. The promise system is flawed.Liverpool has a policy of signing young player for the first team. In the first season, I signed the 4 top talent in the game around the age 17-18 during the summer window. One more in the winter window. They are all descripted as wonderkid, I always put those players on the bench as they are not as good as my first choice player yet, The second year, I signed two 16 years old domestic prospect for the youth team and one 21 years old domestic player for the first team. Despite my first team has the lowest average age among the whole league and I have signed multiple young players to the first team. The board is still disappointed for not signing young player for the first team.In the contract negotation with the board, despite I won the EPL in the first year after they finished 10th last season, I was offered a 4 year contract with exact same wage 36k a week. I lock the length of the cpntract to 2 years. However, the board only willing to offer 20k a week if I want a 2 year contract. After winning the league, I am willing to sign a 2 year contract with the club but they want me to take 50% pay cut with the fact that I manage to make 100 million pounds trade surplus and cut the wage bill by at least 700k pounds per week.The club is flooded with 200 million pounds cash but still unwilling to pay me the same 36k a week wage. Although, I cannot do anything with the wage, it is just a complete joke.

It is so hard to keep a good player in a low-reputation team in FM2017~ Price is a little bit high considering only a few changes of the series,I would recommend you to buy only one version between FM2012-FM2017 (In my point, FM2014 is the harder one)

I can't have it on screen or it makes work difficult, so I bought a MiniDisplay to HDMI cord to run into a nearby Samsung TV.
