巴塞罗那全城拥有超过1000台次的公交车运营，超过80条的公交线路了覆盖城市的大部分地区，对于轨道交通无法到达的区域是一个很好的补充。公交车的车票可与地铁、轻轨的车票通用，采用相同的票价系统。运营时间一般为4:30-23:00。如果选择在夜间出行，在市中心的主要区域还可以乘坐夜间巴士，夜间巴士均会在加泰罗尼亚广场停靠，一般从晚上20:40一直运营到清晨6:00。
轻轨/有轨电车
全市轻轨共有6条线路，分别是覆盖城市西部、被称为Trambaix的T1、T2、T3线，以及位于市中心、被称为Trambesos的T4、T5、T6线。Trambaix和Trambesos各自所属的三条线路互相连通，大部分站点运营时间为5:00-24:00。运行规则和地铁一样，只是在路面上运行。轻轨轨道铺在草地上，与地铁换乘很方便。在站台上有详细的线路图和运行时刻表，高峰时间大约8分钟一趟。车内有电子屏幕显示下站站名。
