从西尔贝超跑中国的市场部工作人员处了解到，第二代SSC跑车都诞生了，取名Tuatara&&Tuatara搭载一款由SSC自主研发的最大动力输出达1350匹马力的7.0升V8双涡轮增压发动机，动力将通过一款7速换挡SMG变速器或7速手动H型换档变速器传输给后轮。
这一动力系统将使得Tuatara的百公里加速时间在2.78秒，最高时速可达443公里。在设计和性能上有了全面提升的Tuatara，将使SSC再次登上吉尼斯世界最快量产车的宝座。目前的主要对手锁定布加迪和柯尼塞格。
