2013年英语应用能力考试B级解题技巧:听力理解

  第一章 听力理解
  (一)考纲浏览
  高等学校英语应用能力考试大纲(B级)对听力理解的测试要求、测试形式和测试目的作了说明,具体规定如下:
  1.测试要求
  (1)测试考生理解所听问题并做出恰当回答的能力、理解简短对话的能力和听写词语的能力。
  (2)听力材料的语速为每分钟100词。
  (3)词汇限于《基本要求》的“词汇表”中B级2500词的范围,交际内容涉及《基本要求》中的“交际范围表”所列的B级听力范围。
  2.测试形式
  (1)采用多项选择题和填空题两种形式。
  (2)三个部分:Section A(Questions),Section B(Short Dialogues)以及Section C(SpotDictation)。其中Section A共有五个问题,每个问题读两遍,要求考生从四个选项中选出正确的答案;Section B由五组对话组成,每组对话一般是由一男一女各读一句,然后就对话内容提出问题,每个对话和问题各读两遍;Section C由约l20词左右的短文构成.其中
  有五个空格,每个空格要求填入一个单词或短语;短文共读三遍,第一遍朗读没有停顿,第二遍在空格后有停顿.要求根据所听内容填空,第三遍要求完整地听全文,边听边检查所听内容。
  (3)共计l5小题.占总分的15%。
  (4)测试时问为15分钟。
  3.测试目的
  测试考生对一些问题做出合适的回答,理解简短对话和简单短文,从中获取信息的能力。
  (二)命题趋势
  为捕捉高等学校英语应用能力考试(B级)听力部分的命题特点,预测其命题趋势,以下将对2001年1月至年问12套试题中听力第一和第二部分的试题类型进行分析,统计结果如下:
  Section A考点分析
  这一部分主要考查考生对一些问题做出合适回答的能力,内容为日常生活中的问话。句子结构和内容一般比较简单,出题一般以疑问句的形式出现,也有陈述句形式的日常交际语。测试的主要内容包括:问候、询问情况、请求与建议等日常交际主题。下表对近6年真题中Section A各题型的分布做了统计。
  从以上统计表可以看出,询问情况题在历年真题中所占比重最大(38%),其次是请求与建议题(35%)。其他两类题
  型的比率,即问候与客套题和时间与价格题的比率分别是17%和l0%。

  2.Section B考点分析
  这部分的对话内容一般以日常交际为主,句子结构和内容都不太复杂,提问形式多为特殊疑问句,问句通常以what,which,where,why,when,how,how many,how much等开头。表2对近6年真题中Section B的考点做了统计。
  从上表中可以看出,在听力的第二部分中,排名前三的试题类型分别是事实细节题(47%)、推理判断题(35%)和地点场景题(8%)。当然,如果加上听力的第三部分(Section C),事实细节题的比例就会有很大提高,因为这一题型均为事实细节题。
  以下对高等学校英语应用能力考试(B级)听力第二部分的重要考点做一归纳总结,并提出相应的应试策略。排在首位的试题类型是事实细节题(47%)。这类试题是所有题型中最容易的一类,直接就对话里的相关信息提出问题,答案一般十分明显,只需仔细听清题目就可选对。

  【题解】答案为选项B(他打破了杯子)。这类试题主要考查对听力细节的把握。根据录音中男士的原话可直接判断正确
  答案为选项B。排在第二的试题类型是推理判断题(35%)。这类试题又可以细分为观点态度题、行为计划题、语义推断题等几种类型,其核心的考查内容是考生对对话双方话语的理解程度。遇到这类考题时,考生要根据说话人的用词,语气以及语用含义等来正确理解并做出推断。在学习过程中要学会掌握一些常见的习惯表达方式。
