The UK one day multi-disciplinary meeting will bring together
experts in radiobiology, medical physics and clinical oncology involved

2014 Conference
at the University of Sussex
The ARR 2014 conference,
organised by Prof Penny Jeggo of the University of Sussex, took place from 29th
June to 2nd July 2014. There were 109 participants, who listened to
some excellent invited speakers, proffered talks and Scientists in Training (SITs).
Thank you to the University of Sussex who provided a first class venue and to
all our sponsors. Particular thanks go to: the British Institute of Radiology,
AICR (now called Worldwide Cancer Research), National Cancer Research Institute,
European Radiation Research Society, Cancer Research UK, CTRad, European
Association for Cancer Research, LH Gray Memorial Trust, RPS Services, LabLogic,
AEGLETEQ and Precision X-Ray (PXi).

2014 Weiss Medal Winner
The ARR is delighted to announce the award of the Weiss Medal for
2014 to Mike Atkinson currently director of the Institute of Radiation
Biology at the HelmholtzZentrum, Munich.
