Reject & Resubmit
小弟有篇文章去年7月份投的，今天刚收到意见，
In view of the criticisms of the reviewer(s), I must decline the manuscript for publication in the Rapid Prototyping Journal at this time. However, a new manuscript may be submitted which takes into consideration these comments.
还有一堆重投的说明
I look forward to a resubmission.
下面是审稿人的意见：
The investigation is very intresting, but all the research work is not testified in SL machine, and the most test methods in the manuscript is for adhesives, not suit SL resin research. Morover, the most important properties such as tensile strenght, flexural strength, hardness etc are all not tested in the paper, so the results could not provide good reference to RP resin research.
Additional Questions:
1. Originality: Does the paper contain new and significant information adequate to justify publication?: No
2. Relationship to Literature: Does the paper demonstrate an adequate understanding of the relevant literature in the field and cite an appropriate range of literature sources? Is any significant work ignored?: Yes
3. Methodology: Is the paper's argument built on an appropriate base of theory, concepts or other ideas? Has the research or equivalent intellectual work on which the paper is based been well designed? Are the methods employed appropriate?: No, some related theory and experimental methods used in the manuscript is correct for adheaive research, but it is not suitable to be used in Rapid Prototyping resin research,such as shear strength.
4. Results: Are results presented clearly and analysed appropriately? Do the conclusions adequately tie together the other elements of the paper?: No, for the SL resin, there are defined methods and experiments to evaluate the properties of photo-curable resin, such as shrinkage by fabrication a flat plate with certain size, tensile strength by ASTM D638,etc. but in this manuscript, the important property values such as tensile strength, flexural stength, tensile and flexural modulus, etc, are all not mentioned.
5. Implications for research, practice and/or society: Does the paper identify clearly any implications for research, practice and/or society? Does the paper bridge the gap between theory and practice? How can the research be used in practice (economic and commercial impact), in teaching, to influence public policy, in research (contributing to the body of knowledge)? What is the impact upon society (influencing public attitudes, affecting quality of life)? Are these implications consistent with the findings and conclusions of the paper?: No
6. Quality of Communication: Does the paper clearly express its case, measured against the technical language of the fields and the expected knowledge of the journal's readership? Has attention been paid to the clarity of expression and readability, such as sentence structure, jargon use, acronyms, etc.: Yes
看来这篇文章硬伤比较多，这算是拒了吧，大家觉得改后还有戏吗？
Reject & Resubmit 类似于大修，如果能好好修改，那么希望还是挺大的 不懂楼主的专业，貌似审稿人认为楼主的研究还是很有意义的，但由于很多重要属性没有研究和测试，对RP树脂的研究帮助不大，如果楼主能够参考审稿人的意见补充相关实验和数据，并作出到位的修改，重投后接收的希望还是很大的。 Major revision. Try to solve all the comments arised by the reviewers, you may go through. 这篇文章如果要发表需要大修改

祝好运:hand: 好好修改，认真回复审稿人的comments，希望很大。我的一篇就是这种情况，最终录用。 我读了上面的revision觉得很大一部分原因来自于LZ文章的写的问题，没有突出原创性，没有突出对社会或者说对实际的指导意义，没有突出和之前其他人研究工作的衔接性，甚至连句子都写得不是很地道，让审稿人读不懂。
所以好好改改，说不定有戏。 改是很重要的，按照他说的改希望极大 对方认可你的主题，不过里面的内容方法等还需要大量的修改工作，现阶段所以无法接受
楼主好好按照对方的意见修改还是希望很大的 好好修改啊 希望很大啊。。。 看来修改十分重要，认真按照审稿人的意见改，希望很大。 编辑的天平其实是偏向于作者的，所以希望灰常灰常滴大，，， 按照编辑的意见修改希望是很大的。因为有关键的一句I look forward to a resubmission. 修改重投算是大大修了，认真修改机会很大的。
我上一篇文章就是修改重投然后大修，接收的。

文章刚被判刑为reject&resubmit，请问一般多少天必须提交修改稿？
杯具，文章被告知reject&resubmit
审稿人给的修改意见还是比较中肯，主要是给推荐了几个文章让参考一下，把几个概念用表格的方式细分阐述的更全面一些，另外是把一个实验图片换成遥感图。

看到审稿人意见和编辑的意见时还很乐观，后来分析了一下，原来人家编辑回信前面内容那叫委婉，全球的编辑几乎都用的一个reject&resubmit模板回复邮件，呵呵
言归正传：
第一个问题
Because we are trying to facilitate timely publication of manuscripts submitted to the International Journal of Remote Sensing, your revised manuscript should be uploaded as soon as possible.&&If it is not possible for you to submit your revision within a reasonable amount of time, we will consider your paper as a new submission.
这个"within a reasonable amount of time"尺度这么把握？
我投的是International Journal of Remote sensing
第二个问题，这个期刊的reject&resubmit还有多少复活可能？现在我是按照新文章的规格在重新整理文章结构和重新选择实验图片，希望能改出一个像样的文章。
有的期刊有明确规定，见过2个月或3个月的。有的期刊编辑判定。
不过通常1个月内resub为好。
逐条虚心回答，尊重审稿人和编辑的建议，一般机会很大。 从字面上看，像个小修，不过reject&resubmit是大修以上的尺度。所以建议一个月内完成。 有些中国人审稿的啊 一天没得条件限制，你不投也可以的。 我投JPD，一审过后编辑给了一年，开始以为自己看错了，结果没有，后来修改了一月，重新上传，又等了将近三个月，直接接受。

resubmit是不是相当于重新投稿呢？
夜里起来顺手看了邮件，收到主编的通知，第一句话就是I am sorry to inform... 心凉了半截，有四个专家的意见，
review board and has not been recommended for publication in its present form.
I encourage the authors to revise the paper and resubmit once all concerns are addressed
请问resubmit是不是等于重新投稿呢？
上次是大修已经录用了，这次第二篇，唉&&付主编就格式方面提了很多意见

绁濆ソ 有机会录用,按审稿意见修 按审稿意见认真修改，录用机会很大。 其实只要没拒稿，你不用在意是major revision 还是 resubmit，实质上都是一样的，好好修改论文就行了，一定要认真修改，让编辑和审稿人看到修改稿的时候感觉你文章整体质量提升不少，这就很有戏了 编辑给机会了，说明编辑还是认可你的工作的，好好修改，录用的几率还是挺高的。 稿件的状态是 rejected& &但是主编和付主编 都是让resubmit 重新提交就重新提交呗，按修改意见注意修改，希望还是很大。 其实跟大修差不多。
改好以后基本上还是会送给原来的审稿人审。
少数情况下可能会找新的审稿人。 我感觉楼主按审稿人的意见好好修改后再重新提交，接收的希望是很大的。 这种情况就是改后重投了 ，第一次投一样的。 有一种说法：编辑认可，但是审稿人不认可，于是编辑让你resubmit后，换审稿人，以其最终通过 根据审稿意见详细修改后重新提交，将作为新论文重新送审，可能还是送给原来的审稿人。 我有个就是resbumit最后录用了, 按照意见一条条的回复，好好修改吧，只要不是reject，就是有希望的。 我同学也是有个resubmit，最后也录用了。所以，好好改还是有很大希望的。 我现在的文章情况就和楼主一样，希望咱们两个的文章都能接收！ 其实重新提交的话，编辑会重点再审一次，如果可以的话就送审了，一般情况下，再次提交的意义不大！ 好好修改吧，觉得你的文章可以才让修的，不然就拒了！ 应该跟大修差不多，我有一篇resubmit之后直接接受的，楼主加油 按照要求一条条改过来应该就差不多了，问题不大 我也碰到一个情况就是 两个审稿人都建议修改后接收的情况下，编辑给了临时拒稿，让修改重投，但是在我的投稿系统里却是修改稿待修改状，虽然编辑邮件让resubmit a new manuscript，但是我还是只是修改后在revision里面提交后上传的，稿件号是###R1。给机会就抓住，重投很大部分都会接收的
