瑞典歌手Basshunter，原名Jonas Erik Altberg，1984年出生与瑞典的哈尔姆斯塔德.今年年初，Basshunter 因“Boten Anna”这首为电子竞技游戏而作的歌曲而出名，整个欧洲的音乐迷都在为这首歌曲而疯狂，这就使得这首歌在电子竞技比较发达的瑞典和荷兰都打进了前三名的排行榜。另外一首走红的歌曲是“Vi sitter I Ventrilo och spelar DotA”意思为我们坐在Ventrilo里打DOTA，（说到DOTA解释下：即”Dota all-star“是目前魔兽RPG中很出名的一张团队作战地图，我也好久没玩魔兽RPG了，查了资料才知道）这首歌MTV的画面是Basshunter和他的队友带着Siberia牌头式通话器一起打DotA，同时这首歌中也收入了许多DotA中有趣的声音；这个MTV中的部分片段曾在瑞典2006年的DreamHack LAN赛事和Malmo的GamersParadise赛事中播放。

Alexis Jordan is a multi-racial American singer, songwriter and actress from Columbia, South Carolina. She was a contestant on the first season of "America's Got Talent" and is signed to Sony Music through Jay-Z's record label StarRoc.After performing the National Anthem for the United States Air Force Academy at age 12, Jordan started to attract a ton of attention and was asked to sing at various events, leading to bigger and better opportunities. Jordan cites her opening gig for a concert in 2004 as inspiring. "When I was 12, I opened up for Smokey Robinson at a Stevie Wonder tribute," remembers Alexis. "I sang ‘Ribbon In The Sky' and Stevie was backstage like, ‘You didn't think I heard you singing my song did you?' I didn't know how big of a legend he was but looking back on it now, I can't believe that I did that! It was such a great experience." In between her musical career, Jordan also performed as an actress, taking roles on soap operas and commercials.
Jordan's big break came in 2006, when she auditioned as a contestant for the new Simon Cowell-produced reality-contest program America's Got Talent, which debuted on NBC that same year. Jordan sang Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing" at the audition and made it to next round, only to be elimiated in the semi-finals. Despite the elimination, Jordan began to expand on her musical career after her family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. While there, Jordan began uploading her songs on YouTube while submitting demos. By 2008 Jordan's YouTube page was racking up millions of views. This exposure would lead Jordan to the attention of rapper/music executive Jay-Z, who became her mentor and signed her to his Roc Nation-imprint spinoff Star Roc, and in turn resluted in her becoming a part of the Columbia Records roster.

Ultrabeat are an electronic music production group based in Liverpool, who primarily produce dance and house music and are most famous for their 2003 massive hit Pretty Green Eyes.
Their output is generally classed under the genre known as Commercial Dance. Their earlier efforts are recognised as commercial UK Vocal Trance productions. Ultrabeat release their work through the All Around The World record label. The group comprises Mike Di Scala, Chris Henry and Ian Redman.
It is notable that their recordings have been constantly supported by Scouse House and Radio City 96.7 DJ, Lee Butler, who helped launch them into stardom. He famously aired their cover version of I'm Not in Love within a few hours of its recording.
The band's debut album, called "Ultrabeat - The Album", was released on September 10, 2007 and includes all of their previously released singles. The Album reached #8 in the UK album chart. Their newest single is a collaboration with Hard House producer/singer Darren Styles named "Discolights". It was released on the 23 June 2008 on the AATW label.

Russian born POLINA GRIFFITH is a voice and a face behind one of the biggest dancefloor anthems 'S.O.S' (A'Studio feat. Polina Griffith). Track stormed the charts all over the world and in UK it spent weeks being no.1 on DMC, no.1 on COOL CUT CHART and no.1 on UK CLUB CHART.
Polina's musical journey started at the age of 6 in Riga (Latvia) where she moved with her mother to persuit her music interests. When she was a teenager she moved to Warsaw where she started studying music and taking professional vocal lessons. In 90s Polina joined famous musical "Metro" of which toured Europe and overseas. In 1992 after many performances in New York she decided to stay in US and joined local undeground dance scene.

本周英国流行单曲排行榜上又诞生了一位新冠军 -- 直入榜首，就是英国著名音乐制作人Calvin Harris独立推出的新专辑主打《我不孤单》I'm Not Alone。
熟悉英国单曲榜的朋友们肯定对Calvin Harris并不陌生，因为他以前的一首Acceptable in the 80s曾达到榜上第十，而他和Dizzie Rascal合作的《与我共舞》Dance Wiv Me更是拿到过去年夏天单曲榜的第一名，被排为年度第12大热销单曲。
