Ram Narain Agarwal, a scientist of great renown, hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan, where he acquired his early education. After graduation, he joined the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) at Chromepet, Chennai, for a postgraduate course in Aeronautical Engineering.
