不管使用Adobe哪个产品(Adobe Reader、Adobe Dreamweaver、....甚至是最新的Adobe Flash Player程序)，它的更新程序都会安装上去，而且会默认开启，于是你的右下角总是少不了Adobe更新提示图标，偶尔还会跳出来&炫耀&，对于有&洁癖&习惯的电脑用户而言，Adobe更新非常烦人，亲又不是杀毒软件、防火墙、操作系统的，有必要这么两个小时就到服务器去查询一次吗？随删除更新、禁止更新、取消更新、停止更新，整个世界清净了。
以下是关闭Adobe更新常见方法，由于版本不同，大家均可尝试，方法类似。
一、直接删除Adobe Updater相关目录
对Adobe Reader 9而言是Updater6目录，其它版本的类似处理，但肯定都是在&....\Adobe\&目录下。
Windows XP/2003用户：
删除目录：C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6
删除目录：C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Updater6
非管理员，请到C:\Documents and Settings\&Your name&下面对应文件夹下找到Updater目录。&Your name&为你的用户名，下同。
Windows 7/8/9用户：
删除目录：C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Updater6
删除目录：C:\Users\&Your name&\AppData\Local\Adobe\Updater6
CS6系列产品升级文件位置（可直接删除掉）：
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\UWA\AAM Updates Notifier.exe，同目录下还有Adobe Application Manager (Updater).exe文件也一并删除。
方法二、到对应软件设置下关闭
比如Adobe Reader 9，设置路径如下：
打开Adobe Reader，依次点击菜单Edit-&Preference，弹出窗口中点击Internet，中文版对应&编辑&-&&首选项&到因特网一项下设置。如下图
不过本方法，对于大部分用户而言作用并不大，因为还有Adobe Flash Player插件，或许还有安装Photoshop等Adobe门下软件，也必须一一设置。

4.& Did&the installer start installing?
You don’t know where the Flash Player installer has been downloaded.
By default, the files are downloaded and saved to the Downloads folder unless the &save to& location is changed manually.
After downloading Flash Player, close all browsers.
Locate the install flash player file. Unless you have specified otherwise, the file is saved in your Downloads folder.
Double-click the installer file to begin the Flash Player installation.
Choose Window & Downloads or press Option+Command+L. Control-click the downloaded file and choose Show in Finder.
5. & Are you unable to resolve the issue?
The rich-media&content does not work, and you do not know what the issue is.
6. & Do you have password-related issues?
If you are unable to authenticate successfully, check your user name and password. Use your system credentials, not your Adobe ID.
