如果对Linux比较熟悉的人，可以看官方的步骤：&
像我这样用惯了Windows的人，对Linux还是玩不来的，很简单的操作对我来说跟刚学电脑一样，本文主要讲在Windows下下载Android源码的方法，在网上找了很长时间，也费了不少周折，最后实践成功，将相关步骤整理如下，以供读者参考。
这里要用到，简而言之，Cygwin是一个在windows平台上运行的Linux模拟环境。
首先下载一个安装向导文件，运行后出现安装引导：
点击【下一步】：
这里有三个选项，如果你只是用来下载Android源码，只安装相关的几个包，建议选择“Install from Internet”，如果你要安装很多包，建议“Download Without Installing”，下载完成后，再次运行时选择“Install from Local Directory”进行安装，因为要安装的文件大（几个G），往往在下载过程中会因网络相关的问题中断，就比较闹心了。
继续点击【下一步】：
选择安装目录，点击【下一步】：
这里选择下载的安装文件存放的目录，点击【下一步】：
选择“直接下载”，点击【下一步】：
这里选择下载站点，国内选择163就可以了，点击【下一步】：
这里比较重要，要选择安装的包，（Default，Install，Uninstall），只选择需要的包安装，要不然要下载很长很长时间。
把下面这几个装上就可以了。
Net -& curl；Devel -& git* (git, git-completion, git-gui, gitk)；Libs -& libreadline7(可能以后还会有8,9等新版本), libiconv2；Editors -& vim；Python -& python。
接下来就等待安装完成了，完成后启动Cygwin，接下来要创建一个文件夹存放repo脚本及源码，路径不能带有中文，文件夹名称也能有空格，我这里放到C:\Users\Brant\Documents\workspace\Android_Source_Code下面，启动Cygwin后，切换到上面的目录：
按照下面的命令，一条条执行：
cd c：//进入C盘cd Users/Brant/Documents/workspace/Android_Source_Codemkdir bin //创建bin文件夹PATH=/cygdrive/c/Users/Brant/Documents/workspace/Android_Source_Code/bin:$PATH//这里设置Path，跟Windows下的环境变量意思一样，要不然找不到repo命令。curl https://dl-/dl/googlesource/git-repo/repo & /cygdrive/c/Users/Brant/Documents/workspace/Android_Source_Code/bin/repo，//这个是将Repo脚本文件下载到bin文件夹下。chmod a+x repo //让repo有执行权限为了方便区分版本，我在Android_Source_Code下面创建了个android-4.0.1_r1文件夹，下面要下载这个版本。进入到创建的 android-4.0.1_r1文件夹中repo init -u /platform/manifest -b android-4.0.1_r1 &//此处下载branch为4.0.1_r1版本，如果你要下载master，执行repo init -u /platform/manifest。最后执行 repo sync进行同步。
这里要下载几个G的东西，接下来就慢慢等待了。

1. 浏览器登录/new-password，并用gmail帐号登录；&
2. 点击网页上的&允许访问&，得到类似：&
1. machine
login git-&userName&. password &password&&&
2. machine android- login git-&userName&. password &password&&&
3. 把上面那段信息（&userName&和&password&用自己得到的真实信息）追加到~/.netrc文件结尾；&
4. 下载地址的URI更改为/a/platform/manifest（中间加上了&/a&）。&
然后按照官网描述的正常步骤操作，即可拉下Android源码。&
官方的说法是：因为访问基本是匿名的，为了防止连接过多，对同一IP地址的连接数做了一定的限制。看来是用gmail帐号进行认证。&
这样的话，在公司网络内或者用虚拟机的话，会经常遇到这问题。&
