2014年7月，之前02年的四眼 1.4 MT尾气工况两次上线才过，无奈萌生换车念头。从此开始了选车提车的历程。
& & 首先家里成员对没有任何抵触情绪，本人之前开的也是，这就省去了很多麻烦――很多老一辈心目中仍然固守着“买车买三厢，买大不买小”的思想。本人作为80后当然也本着“好钻、好停、活泼”的想法将两厢车作为心中的不二选择。但是家里父母依旧希望我买，甚至都帮我选好了……无奈我本人对城市SUV很不感冒，最终关于车型选择上达成一致：必须是后排空间足够且后备箱能放下婴儿车等作为基础条件，具体车型等到选好以后再做议……
& & 之后的事情就基本围绕着两厢车、后排空间大、后备箱够用这几个条件展开。本人不算愤青但也对日韩系车无好感，美系车依旧没能逃开油老虎和装饰做工粗糙（其实也就看过福克斯两厢），再算上之前开的POLO也是大众车，所以大众系列基本上已经成为我的不二之选。本人从高6上市的时候就开始关注高尔夫系列车型，自然也就把目光放在新上市的高7上。高7从数据上比上一代高6长、宽尺寸都有一定提升，但是没见到实车之前还是无法下结论，于是决定抽空去4S店看车试驾。
& & 8月份找了个周末带准媳妇去4S店试乘试驾了一次高7，试驾车是1.4T豪华版，感觉比POLO不止提高了一个档次，加速动力强劲，转向精准，内饰做工也精致。对于网上流传简配的扭力梁后悬挂，可能是我没开过高6的原因，试驾过程中感觉不到有什么问题，试乘的时候特意选择了后排座位感受了一下，没感觉会很颠。于是基本上选定高尔夫7作为下一辆车。之后的事情还有一件很重要，那就是说服家里父母了。毕竟车子不是自己一个人开，家人也有开出去的时候，必须要考虑到家人的感受，所以又一次去4S店带父母去看了一下车子。结果父母一致认为高尔夫7看上去虽小，但是内部空间勉强够用，同意我买~~。之后就是一系列网上对比、看网友提车作业等无边的预习工作了，选择豪华而放弃舒适的原因很简单，多功能方向盘、无钥匙启动、自动大灯、自动雨刷这几样经常用到的配置就不止1.1W的差价。至于为什么没一次性选择旗舰，我个人认为150ps和131ps实际驾驶中没太大区别；发动机启停堵车跟车慢没用路况好更没用；氙气大灯没有双U日行灯就像少了灵魂一般，最终还是要换GTI或7R的双U氙气；翻毛皮座椅虽然舒服但是不好打理；MIB收音机无导航，要导航选装ACC驾驶辅助包，真心超出承受能力，而且豪华也可以选装MIB导航，所以最终选择了1.4T自动豪华加MIB导航选装的这款。唯独比较可惜的是旗舰双区自动空调，手动空调也不是不能接受的。
& & 唠唠叨叨说了那么多选车的事儿，该说提车了。8月份选定车型后听到消息说9月份要上市2015款新车型，具体配置是多了后门扬声器，环保标准升级为国V第二版，并且可以领取3000元国家惠民环保补贴。本想立即下手订车又听闻新款车辆在车管所无数据，新车必须要拆车之类的说法，无奈之下只好暂缓订车，潜在论坛里等待各种消息。9月中旬在论坛看到消息说15款高尔夫7 1.4T已经可以安心上牌不用拆车了。14年9月28日在北京上地四方4S店订车15款 极地白 1.4T自动豪华选装MIB导航。订车时候发现恰巧车库里就有现车是日生产，考虑到原厂导航毕竟需求量小，一个月库存期也算合理，于是直接交下定金10.1来提车。结果国庆节当天来提车办完交款手续因为车管所休假没法办理临时牌照，只能再把旧车开回去。4号早上打电话通知我终于可以办临牌，立刻到4S店办临牌、交旧车、提新车。新车到手只有7KM但是忘记拍照，只有到家里16KM的照片留念了。

手套箱，请原谅里面的杂物实在懒得收拾了，MIB主机放在这个位置上严重降低了手套箱存放物品的能力，稍微厚一点、大一点的东西都放不进来，貌似照片中还有一条VCDS线乱入了。MIB导航机的CD仓、音乐SD卡、导航地图卡插口隐藏在手套箱里，值得一提的是导航卡没有规定必须放在某个卡槽里，随意插入一个卡槽就可以识别出来。当然如果你愿意也可以放弃导航地图插入两张音乐SD卡……不过听得过来么？
